Studio One at The Rose Theatre Company is a safe, accepting, fun enviroment for students of all ages to use their imaginations. Our experienced and patient director, Mrs. Jessie Rose, has over 12 years experience teaching kids, teens and adults the skills of acting that she learned while a student at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York CIty! She is always dedicated to building a student's self confidence and giving them an outlet to express themselves freely.

We focus on the positive traits and talents of each student. While working on basic/advanced acting skills we also cover everything from self awareness, memorization, how to handle stage fright and how to give a report in front of an audience (or class). We want students to feel at home in front of a crowd. Students accomplish this while enjoying themselves and making lots of friends in the process. Kreative Kids and Teens classes are the perfect place to watch your young ones grow!

Homeschool class

( 7-14 yrs old)

Does your homeschooler need a creative outlet? We have just the place for you. Join us at The Rose every Monday. Through acting games and excerises your child's confidence and self-esteem will soar. At the end of our session we will perform scenes and monologues.

Kreative Kids (7-10 yrs old)

Kiddos this age have imagination to spare! What better way to express themseves then on stage in the spotlight. Every Weds we work on acting games geared toward focus, team work and speaking in front of people. We Encourage reading skills with scripts and monologues they read and memorize then perform in a big showcase at the end of the session.

Want something fun and artistic to do with your toddler? Drama Mamma class is the place for you! Mommy and toddler together participate in a different interactive story every week. Join us as we laugh and play and grow through story telling and acting.

Advanced Teen Intensive (13-17yrs old)

Our focus is on scene work and character study. We also cover sensory recall and substitution and go in-depth on emotions and what type of actor you are. We use Uta Hagen's perspective on acting. This class also gets the wonderful opportunity to be featured once a year in a full run show in The Rose Theatre Co.’s night time theatre season.

ADVANCED ACTING CLASS

Tweens are what this class is all about.

In two hours every week we learn through acting excercises, games, scene study,monologues and improv skills. Each class is different and each role is equal. We strive to create self- confident and responsible actors. If your tween sings every song, acts out their favorite scenes from movies, or need a little help coming outta their shell,
